| The Design Quarter Shines 19 Jan 2010by Charlotte Cowell The Design Quarter at The Jewellery show will feature 25 leading designer-makers in this field, who can offer visitors the chance to discover truly inspirational new product, with an eye on emerging trends. It is in the Design Quarter that you will find those unique, eye-catching pieces of designer jewellery that have the desired ‘magpie effect’ and can pull new waves of consumers into your stores. Event director of The Jewellery Show, Julie Driscoll, explains that: “By paying a visit to the Design Quarter, retail jewellers will be taking positive steps to help their business grow in 2010”.

Further inspiration can be found in the surrounding aisles of Hall 18, where the exhibition’s smaller, design-led jewellery manufacturers are grouped together. Then, towards the middle of the exhibition, at the heart of Halls 17 and 18, the WGSN-styled Pandora Catwalk Café will provide a superb focal point, effectively setting the trends in this sector for the year ahead.
